OMLP accelerates development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, materials, and quality) functions at GE Vernova.

Roles and Responsibilities

OMLP is a 2-year rotational program consisting of 4 six-month rotations that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging assignments and world-class training. Training topics include lean, functional expertise (EHS, quality, sourcing, materials, etc.), as well as leadership and personal development topics.

There are 3 mandatory rotation types every OMLP will complete:

  • Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor (people leader of hourly workforce)

  • Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)

  • Technical – (quality, lean, manufacturing engineer / process engineer)

Required Qualifications

  • Recent bachelors or masters degree in engineering, logistics, or supply chain management. Supply chain majors need operations or manufacturing experience.

  • All rotations will be in the UK. Desire to stay in the UK post graduation required.

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior internship experience in lean, engineering or manufacturing/supply chain (preferred)

  • Ability to solve problems in a team / manufacturing environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to connect with all levels of the organization showing openness, transparency & humility

  • A strong commitment to a career in manufacturing/supply chain.

  • Analytical mindset
