Job Title:Logistics Analyst IILocation:Stafford, VAJob Summary/Purpose:The Gemini 3 Group (G3G) is seeking a full-time Logistics Analyst IIto support a valued Department of Defense (DoD) customer. It isour goal to provide our employees with a work environment that promotes professional andpersonal fulfillment, career development, and job enrichment.Essential Responsibilities/Functions:• Assist in integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide life-cyclesupport of systems and equipment.• Recommend ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with programrequirements, specifications, and standards.• Analyze models and optimized distribution networks using advanced logistics softwarefor location of sites, allocation of resources, inventory placement, and size, selection oftransportation mode, freight consolidation, closed loop tours, and continuous moves.• Prepare, review, update and maintain logistics documentation, as required.• Track, monitor, and maintain logistics documentation electronically, within Government designatedrepositories.• Track all hardware warranty and software license use.• Assist in the planning and coordination of fielding conferences.• Assist in the collection, analysis, reconciliation and forecasting of requirements tosupport, replace, or upgrade Information Technology (IT) hardware and software items.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:• Possess knowledge of DoD/USMC acquisition policies, as well as various tools: TotalForce Structure Management System (TFSMS), Remedy, Defense Property AccountingSystem (DPAS), and Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)systems.• Must be detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
