The GSB is seeking a Program Manager for the upcoming Stanford GSB Centennial Celebration to be part of the Dean’s Office. This detail oriented and collaborative team member reports to the Centennial Lead and is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the Centennial Celebration roadmap across our four major objectives for the GSB Centennial Celebration - Engaging our community, Honoring history and showcasing achievements, Elevating impact and possibilities, and Enabling future growth. This role requires a deep appreciation of our GSB's history and contributions and an enthusiasm for aspirational initiatives that underscore our commitment to future excellence. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, demonstrated excellence managing in high-profile events, and strong collaborative relationship management experience. This is a highly visible project with senior leadership engagement. Completion of the Centennial project may lead to growth opportunities.

This is a full-time hybrid role, with the requirement to work onsite at the Stanford campus a minimum of three days per week.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage execution of a multi-year roadmap of experiences and events for the GSB Centennial Celebration.

  • Plan, implement, and support the evaluation of the Centennial Celebration.

  • Collaborate with Centennial Leadt in resolving complex issues that span organizational boundaries.

  • Coordinate the Centennial Celebration across stakeholder groups including within the GSB, the University, and to the external and internal stakeholders and communities.

  • Support implementation of outreach strategy that includes managing relationships and communications.

  • Collaborate with various teams of staff in the planning and implementation of the Centennial Celebration roadmap of experiences and events.

  • Manage budgets and finances including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions using good business judgment and creative problem-solving.

  • Demonstrated success taking initiative, working independently, and coordinating efforts closely across a team of stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and meet budget goals.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to cultivate professional and business partnerships.

The expected pay range for this position is $73,000 to $141,000 per year.
