JOB DESCRIPTION -- Shipping/Production Team Leader • Daily assessment and completion of furniture parts and assemblies required to ship orders. Learn product breakdown and components for each product • Learn our various ship methods based on product type, size and weight • Learn where to source parts from to facilitate daily shipments • Provide assistance or direction to other workers by learning these support functions • Confer with owner and production to coordinate parts/components needs for the day and week • Keep warehouse and shipping areas clean, orderly and organized to ensure a safe and efficient workplace • Work daily to help improve, standardize and streamline operations.

PHYSICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 70# on occasion but most boxes are under 50#. Must be comfortable and experienced with air and electric hand tools ( electric palm/belt sanders, routers & pneumatic staplers/nailers). In additon, familiarity with basic woodworking equipment (cut/rip/rout/drill).
