Summary

As part of the data driven customer experience team, this position will support in establishing critical infrastructure for digital analytics by assisting in the creation of comprehensive implementation plans, site tagging and data layer implementation in partnership with internal stakeholders and external analytics vendors to ensure proper data collection. This position is responsible for interpreting and gathering requirements, implementing tracking tags, ad-hoc reporting and providing insights across digital properties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with tag management systems, digital analytics tools and datasets across a variety of systems.

Responsibilities

Implement, test and validate tracking tags for marketing campaigns and analytics tools

Interface with business stakeholders and IT teams to work through the start-up phases of projects, ensuring business requirements and business acceptance documents are accurately developed

Assist in performing quality audits on tracking tags and tracking parameter implementations across all digital initiatives, content and campaigns. Verifies tag placement and performance working with internal/external partners, QA and IT teams as needed. Supports data availability for customer insights and campaign measurement, and reporting requirements

Maintain and build upon a documentation archive to ensure we continually track existing tagging and update in accordance with change

Manages regular website scans to identify tagging and site performance issues, works with internal team and external vendors on resolving issues in a timely manner.

Supports operational improvements to analytics platforms to improve the business

Works with digital marketing and ecommerce team in a consultative capacity, provides subject matter expertise support for web analytics

Collaborate with business partners, IT and subject matter experts to build comprehensive business requirements that ensure thorough development of technical specifications

Act as the focal point in user acceptance testing for analytics tools and reporting. Identify and execute test scenarios, work with business analyst & IT resources to resolve issues, validate fixes.

Supports creating reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis based on data from various platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Big Query, Firebase and others)

Supports data driven customer experience team on additional projects as requested

Position Requirements

Education

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Marketing/E-Commerce Analytics, or other with equivalent work experience in analytics

Experience

Required:

1

years’ experience on an analytics team (preferably marketing and/or e-commerce analytics).

Experience in e-commerce and mobile/web analytics platforms

Experience with relevant technical and analytics tools: ObservePoint, Tealeaf, Google Firebase, Google Analytics and/or other web analytics tools.

Experience with tag management platforms including Ensighten & Google Tag Manager

Preferred:

Micro strategy experience

VBA, .net, Java experience a plus

R, Spark, Python, Hadoop experience\ Machine Learning experience

Opinion Lab or other feedback tools a plus

A/B testing tool experience a plus

BigQuery Experience 

Requirements

Required:

Basic familiarity with tagging requirements and processes

General understanding or e-commerce architecture and technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Cookies, search and web media)

Preferred:

Intermediate SQL user, ability to execute large queries and identify issues if they arise

Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, DOMO and ability to build dashboard reporting

Web development experience
