This position is for an Electrical/Data Wire Runner with a company in Stennis Space Center, MS.
Duties and Responsibilities: Experienced Telecom Technicians who can install (ISP) Inside Plant and (OSP) Outside Plant cables, terminate, splice, test, troubleshoot Category Copper and Fiber Optic Cables, install wireless, etc. Hang supports pull and install cables inside and underground. Load & Unload materials & tools. Must understand and be able to read blueprints.
Education and Experience: Cable Manufacturer and or BISCI Certifications is a plus. OSHA 10/30 Certification is a plus. 1 year of experience as a telecom Technician or 1 year of experience as an electrician with low voltage communication cable experience and knows how to run conduit. Must be able to pick up and lift 50lbs. 10 PNL drug screen and quick background check will be required.
Shifts/ Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM -- O/T when we need to finish a job or as required. Must work if needed on Saturday or Emergency call outs.
Pay: $30 - $32 / hr. Up to $1,280 a week with 40 hours.
