This is a Regular, 40 hour per week, Full Time position with benefits.

 

 

Rate of pay starts at $14.50 per hour. After successful completion of the initial trial period, the rate of pay increases to $15.82 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by a person in this position. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all duties that may be performed in such a position.

 

Day to day observation of facilities and equipment to determine if service is required.

 

Maintain functional facilities, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.

 

Notify Building and Grounds Director concerning any need for major repairs or replacement to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment.

 

Assure the building is in sanitary condition at all times.

 

Dust, sweep, mop scrub and vacuum facilities, including but not limited to, hallways, stairs and office space.

 

Clean debris and snow/ice from sidewalks and entrances.

 

Perform other duties as assigned by the Building and Grounds Director, administration or as necessary to obtain agency goals.

Education

:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.

Experience:  

One year of related experience and/or background in a custodial position.

Personnel Policies and Procedures, standards, laws and other compliance mandates.
