Meta Technical Program Manager, Depth Hardware in Sunnyvale, California

Summary:

As an Depth HW Technical Program Manager at Meta’s Reality Labs, you will lead multidisciplinary programs through the product development stages to develop custom depth HW subsystems and drive an industry-leading depth experience in Meta’s consumer products.You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders.We look for program managers who are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.

Required Skills:

Technical Program Manager, Depth Hardware Responsibilities:

  1. Have end-to-end ownership of the depth HW subsystem during New Product Introduction (NPI), including depth architecture, custom detail design, KPI definition, system tuning, and quality verification

  2. Participate in program scoping and roadmap definition for depth

  3. Set program milestones, communicate program status to team and leadership, identify program risks and coordinate a plan of response to mitigate risks

  4. Manage development, delivery, and qualification of depth subsystems based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs

  5. Resolve dependencies with cross functional teams

  6. Manage communication within, and between, internal engineering and external vendor teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Proven communication skills

  2. BS in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline

  3. 2+ years experience working with the development of depth systems

  4. 5+ years experience as program manager managing camera/depth hardware from concept to mass production

  1. 2+ years experience working with design and manufacturing of AR/VR consumer electronic devices

Public Compensation:

$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
