Oracle Customer Conversations Platform Engineer in Sunrise, Florida

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Create new architecture for a moderate size product or a portion of a major product. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Customer Conversations Platform Engineer

The Customer Conversations Platform team designs, develops, deploys and supports in-house and third-party contact center applications sales as well as supports users to improve productivity and customer satisfaction. You will play a major role in planning, deploying and supporting new contact center infrastructure. You will work with both internal Google teams and external vendors to research, evaluate and implement new solutions.

Responsibilities:

Architect, design, deploy and roll out testing and verification systems to ensure the highest audio quality standards for an enterprise-level contact center and voice system.

Coordinate new system deployments working with internal and external partner Engineering teams.

Lead monitoring and troubleshooting of audio quality issues for Oracle s contact center voice systems and toll free numbers.

Develop and produce automation of workflows, audio quality monitoring and alerting.

Qualifications:

PhD or Master s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Physics or other quantitative discipline like Financial engineering.

2 years of experience in building machine models in R, Python or SAS

Experience in automating workflows and integrating tools with third-party systems.

Experience supporting global voice and data infrastructure deployments involving several IT teams and business units.

Experience designing, supporting and troubleshooting audio quality issues on a global voice and data network infrastructure.

Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting skills on various audio manipulation platforms, including Audacity or Pro Tools.
