Organization Introduction: EP China and East Asia is a fully empowered headquarter organization with full P&L responsibility for China and East Asia market in Electrical Products Business unit. We provide leading products, systems and digital solution for safe and efficient electrical power applications. What is expected?

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual to lead our EP CEA procurement function as well as SEAL Operational Strategic Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives, ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement processes, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers. As the role, you are also responsible to coordinating China Segment programs in China, initiate improvement activities to achieve continuous development, and Support Commodity Management (HQ) by identifying potential pooling of demand opportunities for selected material fields and suppliers for further procurement review, using market, material and supplier portfolio analysis collected from assigned countries and coordinate with other team members to implement actions for further negotiations with potential key strategic suppliers.

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies that support the company's long-term goals and financial objectives.

  • Leading the identification and implementation of productivity initiatives, negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, and managing the procurement budget.

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high levels of service, quality, and delivery performance.

  • Identifying and mitigating procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and market volatility.

  • Overseeing the development, negotiation, and execution of contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Streamlining procurement processes, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the procurement function and regularly reporting on performance against these metrics to drive productivity.

  • Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, suppliers, and legal teams, to align procurement activities with business needs.

Your defining qualities

  • Bachelor's and above degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic procurement plans.

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex contracts.

  • Experience with procurement systems and technologies.

  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.

  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.

  • Proficient English skills in oral and written.
