The Role:

Are you passionate about marketing and looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact? RedBalloon, a pioneer in the experiences industry in Australia, is seeking a dedicated marketer for a 12-month parental leave contract.

RedBalloon first pioneered the experiences industry in Australia and has now grown to also be famous for gifting. We truly believe that experiences are what life is made of – whether that's enjoying an exhilarating scenic helicopter flight, taking a getaway in a luxe tiny cabin or learning new skills at a cheese making course.

You will play a pivotal role in revitalising the RedBalloon brand and leading effective marketing activity and brand projects, including the production of integrated campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and working alongside a Campaign & Media Manager, you will drive full-funnel marketing and be the voice of the customer across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management and execution of creative and messaging across owned, earned, and paid channels.

  • Input into strategy, make data-driven decisions, and align internal stakeholders.

  • Work on a variety of projects, from commercial retail campaigns to organising content shoots.

This role will see you working closely with our internal team members in E-commerce, Digital Experience, Performance & Affiliates, along with our agency partners and freelancers.

Core Activities

  • Ideate, brief, and execute full-funnel, end-to-end creative & media campaigns across owned, earned & paid channels, from strategy to execution.

  • Build & inspire internal and agency teams to deliver ongoing marketing activity for business impact against both brand & commercial outcomes

  • Ongoing creative development & content production for multiple channels (including video, static ads & copy for paid social, organic social, email, website, blogs, etc) developed via in-house teams, freelancers and agency partners

  • Customer-led, insight driven marketing strategy planning

  • Budget management

  • Stakeholder engagement

  • Agency management

  • Project management

  • Visual asset management

  • Ad hoc brand projects

Experience Required

  • 8 years' experience in a similar role

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field. Additional certifications in digital marketing are a plus.

  • Proven track record delivering marketing campaigns to drive outcomes across revenue & brand goals

  • Ability to prioritise in a rapidly changing and competitive landscape

  • Ability to connect marketing & brand activity to business impact

  • Strong understanding of media and creating full funnel, effective assets

  • Ability to think strategically & execute enthusiastically

  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude and ability to multi-task

  • Nice to have: Experience in Production, Content, Social or PR
