Where the Audience Solutions and Automated Trading (ASAT) team fits in:
As Programmatic Trader - Supply Integrations Lead, your role sits within the ASAT team, who work closely with Sales and their customers to activate digital advertising campaigns via programmatic trading platforms, utilizing our valuable first party data.
Your role will be a 70/30 split leaning towards Programmatic trading, however your curious nature will see you leading the charge, tapping into various inventory sources in market and securing new opportunities & programmatic offerings. Your incredible relationships with publishers, vendors at DSP’s and your knowledge of Digital Advertising Markets will open doors for new and exiting tech vendors to partner with REA and enhance our overall offering.
Day to day, you can expect to:
The Programmatic Trader, Supply Integrations Lead supports the Sales Group in the following ways:
Work with the Team Leader and Trading Desk Manager to develop & execute bidding, targeting and inventory trading strategies for all offsite media buying across Display, Audio, Video & Social Media
Programmatic Trading will be 70% of your role
Research new sources of inventory for the ASAT trading team
Negotiate PMP deals with networks & publishers
Maintain knowledge of the supply landscape and its evolution on all channels: Display, Social, Audio, Video, DOOH (formats, buying methods, rates, floors, targeting options, etc.)
Keep up to date with the evolution of integrated supplies with ASAT’s DSPs
Monitor performance by SSPs, sites and exchanges and share insights to trading team (lean on Reporting and Analytics Lead)
Develop a Supply Path Optimisation strategy
Keep documentation of inventory centralized, accurate and up to date for the ASAT trading team
Technical set up and trouble shooting of PMPs with Publishers, SSPs and DSPs.
What we’re looking for
Someone with a few runs on the board - 2+ years’ experience trading media using Demand Side Platforms
A minimum of 12 months experience with enterprise DSP platforms – specifically MediaMath
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Basic HTML & JavaScript skills would be a plus
Excellent communication skills, someone who can deal with external vendors and clients, and internal sales teams alike
Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one!)
