Syracuse University Computer Consultant I in Syracuse, New York
The Computer Consultant I position is responsible for deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting hardware and software for end-user devices including desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. Additional tasks include supporting end users in their use of software and classroom technology. Strong familiarity with both Windows and MacOS operating systems and management tools such as Active Directory and Jamf required. Must be comfortable in a help desk environment often requiring speedy and thorough responses to troubleshooting situations and be self-motivated to proactively identify and perform maintenance tasks. Must possess strong communication skills and demonstrate courteous, professional customer service.
