Description The Manager of Terminal Services assists in the project management, vendor management and coordination of new and ongoing construction and repair work and provides supervision of union staff. Assists the Director Terminal Services & Sustainability with facilities management, environmental regulatory reporting, and acts as Assistant Facility Security Officer. Quick Facts Compensation: $111,100 to $160,000, target range $125,000 - $135,000 depending on experience Working hours: Full-time, salary, on-site Reports to: Director, Terminal Services and Sustainability Industry: Marine Terminal Container Operations Job Functions: Terminal Services Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time, with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Assist in management of terminal construction and facilities projects as assigned, on time delivery of project tasks within budget. Act as the Director, Terminal Services and Sustainability's agent to manage and coordinate as appropriate work of designers, consultants, contractors, and others to integrate efforts for optimal project results. Obtains bids, oversee timing of vendor work and monitor quality of materials and workmanship Manage vendor contracts for Facilities, Reconfig, Stormwater, GRESB, Security, etc. by tracking of project budget and timely invoicing by vendors, keeping an up to date spend to date and committed spend vs. budget, validating vendor invoices for work done Obtains local government permits and approvals Liaison with the Port in implementing all terminal facility repairs and enhancements. Maintains site activity report and follows through with appropriate parties, including M&R to ensure deadlines are met. Maintains port activity file for negotiations. Coordinates activities with Terminal, Operations, Contractors, Port and City Authorities and Others as appropriate on multiple projects. Facilitate and manage all ESG reporting and lead annual GRESB submission for Husky Terminal. Manage Terminals Storm Water Pollution Compliance program as directed, providing updates and training to all staff regarding the program. Work as directed on any grant opportunities, environmental initiatives, etc. Serves as Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) for the terminal in regulating Homeland Security, US Coast Guard, federal, state, and local compliance responsibilities, ensuring facility security plan (FSP) procedures are up-to-date and adhered to for annual audit CPR/First Aid Trainer for staff Participate in facilitation of department meetings, prepare project reports, maintain accurate schedules, and project plans Creates and maintains all department documents, schedule,including statement of works, subcontractors' statement of work, contract list, project folder, schedule, action items, risk, decision log and project/service information and building plan reviews. Able to support a 24-hour operation and respond to terminal matters. Additional Responsibilities include the following: Comply with Corporate Safety, Sustainability, and department policies and procedures.
