Work Setting: Onsite

Work Shift Schedule: Night Shift - 9pm to 6am

Job Title: Learning Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Learning Specialist to join our LMS Sustainment team. The selected candidate will collaborate with both internal department colleagues and external clients to ensure the successful delivery of training programs through our Learning Management System (LMS). As a Learning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our partners in their training initiatives, while also identifying and addressing any challenges or opportunities for improvement. This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft tools, and experience with LMS administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal department colleagues to understand their training needs and requirements.

  • Collaborate with team members on the LMS Sustainment team to ensure timely and accurate completion of training activities.

  • Take a critical approach to partner requests and identify any challenges or discrepancies.

  • Provide support to other team members during peak demand periods and accept assistance when needed.

  • Utilize Microsoft tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.

  • Administer the LMS by adding activities, modifying audience assignments, and creating and running reports.

  • Address general requests related to training and LMS administration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic consultancy skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

  • Experience with LMS administration, preferably with SumTotal or similar platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide support to colleagues.

  • Familiarity with reporting tools and SQL is a plus, but not required.

  • Working knowledge of project management standards and practices.

Working Conditions:

Work primarily in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
