    $40,351.04 - $41,721.00 Annually $1,551.96 - $1,655.42 Bi-weekly

    The Work You Will Do

  • Prepares, mails, and tracks legal notices to clients that identify their budget amount, services, and basis for significant additional needs decision and requests for additional information. Notifies Regional offices and Waiver Support Coordinators about matters related to waiver and cost plan reviews.

  • Completes iBudget Waiver enrollments following established rules, statutes, and procedures, provides technical assistance to regional enrollment staff, and performs quality assurance checks on enrollment requests to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Obtains daily information from the agency’s data system, identifies action steps to be taken for client-specific cases, and assigns to appropriate review staff and supervisors. Tracks multiple activities related to the waiver, significant additional needs, and iBudget, including follow up and research related to specific cases with Region and Waiver Support Coordinators. Enters critical budget information and other data into the agency data systems which allows individuals to access services. Data entry documenting significant additional needs related hearing requests in the client data management system.

  • Performs administrative and clerical duties related to significant additional needs and the iBudget Waiver.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.

  • Three (3) years’ experience in data entry.

  • Three (3) years’ experience with Microsoft software programs.

    Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

    Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Systems (Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel).

    Ability to:

  • Enter data in a professional work setting.

    Direct Deposit Program

    As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.

    Background Screening Requirement

    It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.

Pursuant to S. 110.1127(1), Florida Statutes, this position requires a background investigation, including fingerprinting.
