Document Master Center (DMC) provides ICG Markets with a consolidated view of all Client documentation supporting the firm's business activities. The platform harnesses technologies allowing full text and meta-data searching across both structured and unstructured data sets, independent of storage location or format.

Potential Candidates must have experience with, and be enthusiastic about, developing all areas of java based programming. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: writing large scale Java based Web Applications, Web Services, and Standalone processes to run on Linux servers. Able to work in a dynamic team environment and able to integrate their application components and work closely with colleagues globally based in UK, US & Shanghai.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the DMC BAs to understand requirements, come up with design and program specification to drive technical solutions

• To code Java standalone or J2EE applications to implement product features

• To code Oracle Database stored procedures

• Ensure unit testing is created and executed on every component and functionality changed

• Release changes as per Citi standard change management guidelines.

• Provide analysis and write functional & technical specifications

• Communicate and work closely with peer developers of global team

• Analyze and report the critical issue, and try locating the root cause or forward to the right team.

• Able to learn new technologies per business requirement needs.

• Handle BAU activities, including identifying and resolving bug fixes, configuration management and maintenance

• Provide support to established production support team

• Improve personal and team productivity through innovations and use of available tools

• Comply with mandated policies and procedures and contribute in procedural improvements

• Accurately estimate effort for assigned tasks and consistently meet commitments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

• With Financial knowledge or background is a good plus.

• Strong technical skills

• Experience working in a fast paced environment;

• Strong experience of Software Development Lifecycle processes

• Experience of delivering projects as part of a cross location team

• Should be hands-on and have ability to do coding and operate independently.

Required Skills:

• At least 4+ years experience of Java software development

• Strong responsibility and flexibility under work pressure

• Good experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design

• Good experience with spring related frameworks

• Good experience with restful/soap web service development

• Good experience with shell commands

• Good Knowledge in design patterns

• Knowledge of Microservice, cloud applications, container technologies.

• Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning

• Be skilled at Oracle DBMS development

• Be familiar with project building technology (ANT/Maven etc.)

• Be familiar with software testing framework

• Be familiar with Web framework

• Experience in Continuous Integration tools (TeamCity, uDeploy, Sonar etc.)

• Knowledge of MongoDB

• Familiar with UML

Optional Skills:

• Has experience in WebLogic

• Has experience in Solr

• Has experience in Kafka
