**Job Description: The Health, Safety, and Environmental Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving company HSE initiatives. The HSE Technician will correct unsafe acts, maintain awareness of active and developing situations, help monitor and assess risk in all facets of work performed. Communicate with operations to ensure planning of all activities and mitigation of hazards.
Duties and Responsibility:**
Vessel HSE inspections of confined and enclosed spaces prior to employees shift and install inspection tags
Ensure fire protection is available and in working order
Monitor employees for safe work practices
Check for unsecured deck openings, tripping hazard, and fire hazards
