The role you’ll contribute:

The Training Analyst II is responsible for implementing standardized clinical, revenue cycle, and practice operations training strategies for AdventHealth Medical Group. The Analyst will collaborate with the Physician Enterprise Training Delivery Manager and medical group leadership to identify, assess, prioritize, and address training and development needsamong practice staff. The Analyst will carry out suitable training initiatives that result in standard, efficient, and sustained adoption of technologies used within AdventHealth Medical Group. The Analyst will maintain objectivity by assessing and prioritizing training needs based on performance and compliance with specific training plan goals and targets. Successful candidates will maintain and display subject matter expertise in EHR, ancillary applications, and standard workflows to operationally support Physician Enterprise and regional initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee the provision of multidisciplinary education and training and can effectively evaluate workflow to assist the staff with best practice implementation and sustainment.The Analyst will collaborate with others to ensure that content is developed and constantly refined to improve outcomes, and to ensure that the education delivered supports process improvement and optimization targets identified by the organization. The Analyst will need to build and maintain effective relationships with medical group customers as well aspeers and other individuals that support effective technology adoption and operational efficiencies at the designated practices. The Analyst will collaborate with clinical, financial, operations, access, and other teams to ensure the designed training strategies and education programs support best practice workflows.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, deliver and support EHR and ancillary training efforts and continuing education training across the medical group.• Deliver onboarding, training, go-live support, and develop continuous improvement strategies for new department acquisitions and new Providers.• Participate in strategy, delivery, and implementation efforts of Physician Enterprise and regional operational projects.

• Actively participates in best practice sustainment efforts through solution development, implementation, activation, andpost go-live support.• Manage ServiceNow ticket queue to effectively identify, troubleshoot, and track issues at the medical group level.• Work in cooperation with various team members to deliver highly effective training and support to all levels of end users. • Deploy a wide variety of training methods, reimagining creative and innovative tools, techniques, and approaches to achieve excellent comprehension, proficiency, and performance results from end users.• Deliver training using various platforms (i.e. in person, virtual, etc.) for both new and existing users including Providers, clinical support staff, front office/billing staff, and market leaders. • Deliver effective functionality and standard workflow training to end users.• Coordinate training programs and ensure proper training materials are available prior to, during, and after training.• Analyze learning needs and identify knowledge gaps to ensure success of the training. Continuously identifies improvement opportunities and develops engagement strategies to achieve desired learner comprehension and proficiency.• Regularly assess the education needs of end users through on-site visits, operational performance analytics, job and process analyses, and other metrics.• Identify and participate in action plan development to reduce change management risks, potential barriers, or delays as it pertains to the overall learning plan/strategy. • Collaboratively evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of the education program to identify continuous improvement efforts.• Partner with Physician Enterprise, AIT, PHSO, Rev Cycle and other teams to assist with best practice workflow development and optimization to maintain sustainability.• Assess operational performance analytics to summarize education gaps, determine the impact of training on employee skills, and develop action plans for onsite support.• Maintain a keen understanding of adult learning, training and education trends, development, and best practices. • Distribute Physician Enterprise communications to end users and assess user comprehension. Act as subject matter expert (SME) to support practice needs.• Identify opportunities and participate in delivery strategies to improve provider wellbeing, staff satisfaction, consumer engagement and satisfaction, and financial performance.• Serve as a liaison between the medical groups, Physician Enterprise, and Adventist Information Technology (AIT) teams.• Collaboratively define and communicate best practice workflows and system use by clinical and non-clinical physician practice users.• Facilitate assessment of workflow processes before, during, and after system implementation and other operational initiatives.• Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.• Maintain policies and procedures related to the clinical information system.• Working hours are full time; Monday – Friday, occasional weekends or early evenings may be required. • Up to 50% travel may be required with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:• Has extensive EHR implementation and training experience.• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of adult learning styles and training delivery in support of physician practice operations.• Ability to identify education and training needs in a healthcare setting and actively participate in program optimization activities.• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of developing, coordinating, and implementing various training methods and techniques.

• Actively assesses staff support needs to plan, develop, coordinator, monitor and evaluate training within an ambulatory healthcare environment.• Ability to lead the development and delivery of effective training presentations and resources.• Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., HEDIS, MIPS).• Displays advanced knowledge and skills necessary to deliver quality educational instruction to all levels of staff (including external agencies) in a clear and concise manner.• Shows advanced level of communication skills (verbally and in writing) with all levels of employees, facilitate group processes and change. • Self-motivated with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.• Demonstrates strong conflict resolution and customer relation skills. • Excels at prioritization and coordination of multiple projects. • Communicates strong understanding of applicable policies and procedures. • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in healthcare operations, information technology, revenue cycle, physician practice operations, clinical operations, nursing workflow, physician workflow, compliance practices, and medical information management.• Experienced in all Microsoft Office applications.• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Experience in process mapping and process mapping tools (Microsoft Visio)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelors and 3 years experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:• Bachelor's degree or 7 years of highly relatable experience • 3 years training experience in a healthcare environment• 2 years physician practice operations experience• Experience with process improvement methods and tools, e.g., Lean/Six Sigma• Experience in adult learner education/teaching experienceEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:• Prior Epic experience or Credentialed Trainer Certification
