QlikSense Developer/Administrator are information technology experts responsible for extracting data from various sources, using the QlikSense script editor, managing QlikSense Servers, designing dashboards, and creating various QlikSense solutions for the business. The person is responsible for handling the following day-to-day activities which are essential to deliver metrics on a timely basis and ensuring the validity of the same to satisfy highly demanding business needs.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for end-to-end development of new reports and dashboards and modification of existing reports and applications, utilizing QlikSense

Perform periodic maintenance, upgrades and installation of Qlik software components.

Support the administration and daily operations of our Qlik Sense platform.

Research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution based on best practices and application functionality with minimal direction

Collaborating directly with technology colleagues and business reporting team to build requirements and design functional specifications for front-end dashboards and reports

Translate functional specifications into technical specifications and ensure a comprehensive design

Develop and execute unit testing for all developed objects including testing documentation and validation

Qlik developer will be responsible for maintenance and enhancement of QlikSense applications

Qlik developer ensure that they have complete control over the plan, schedule, and risks associated with time-sensitive deliverables

Qualifications:

4-5 years of professional expertise as a Qliksense developer, including data modeling and UI development

Experience as a Qliksense administrator, including managing proxy rules, changing load balancing rules, and applying expertise in the functional purpose of Qlik nodes

Experience with building repositories using star schema, developing subject areas, and applying security, including group, access and query privileges at object and data levels in the administration tool

Experience in building and customizing reports using 3rd party extension. Expert knowledge of report development execution in a complex environment.

Knowledge and experience with Qliksense extension and mashup development is a plus

As a minimum, mid-level experience in SQL

A high level of adaptability and a "can-do" mentality. Capability to work with minimal training and supervision

Solid background developing solutions for high volume, low latency applications and can operate in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment

6-10 years of experience

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Master’s degree preferred
