Job Title: Aquatics Manager

Reports to: Director of Aquatics

 

Aquatics managers oversee day-to-day operations in the waterpark. The expectation is to uphold the standards set forth by Jeff Ellis and Associates and Camelback Resort.

How I can Create Guests for Life:

  • Overseeing safety while in the waterpark. This includes effective training, supervision, and demonstration of a "think safe" attitude.
  • Communication of rule enforcement and facility standards to guests/employees.
  • Providing excellent service to guests using facilities.
  • Performing basic first aid on a regular basis with confidence.
  • Maintaining a professional image and attitude
  • Assist in promoting a positive environment and maintaining positive employee morale.
  • Perform the duties of a lifeguard upon request (caution swimmers of unsafe areas, rescue swimmers in distress, etc.)
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Assist with lost children.
  • Assist in maintaining waterpark cleanliness.
  • Perform vigilance awareness/in service training in accordance with Jeff Ellis and Associates

Is this the job for me:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to assist management in meeting departmental goals.
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Maintain good physical condition.
  • Ability to perform duties of a lifeguard.
  • Understanding of proper incident reporting methods.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and supervise a large staff.
  • Capable of managing an emergency if the need arises.
  • Supervisory experience in an aquatic facility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
