Job Title: Aquatics Manager

Reports to: Director of Aquatics
Aquatics managers oversee day-to-day operations in the waterpark. The expectation is to uphold the standards set forth by Jeff Ellis and Associates and Camelback Resort.

How I can Create Guests for Life:
- Overseeing safety while in the waterpark. This includes effective training, supervision, and demonstration of a "think safe" attitude.
- Communication of rule enforcement and facility standards to guests/employees.
- Providing excellent service to guests using facilities.
- Performing basic first aid on a regular basis with confidence.
- Maintaining a professional image and attitude
- Assist in promoting a positive environment and maintaining positive employee morale.
- Perform the duties of a lifeguard upon request (caution swimmers of unsafe areas, rescue swimmers in distress, etc.)
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Assist with lost children.
- Assist in maintaining waterpark cleanliness.
- Perform vigilance awareness/in service training in accordance with Jeff Ellis and Associates

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to assist management in meeting departmental goals.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Maintain good physical condition.
- Ability to perform duties of a lifeguard.
- Understanding of proper incident reporting methods.
- Ability to lead, motivate and supervise a large staff.
- Capable of managing an emergency if the need arises.
- Supervisory experience in an aquatic facility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
