The opportunity

The Salaried Agency Leader Program Manager is expected to contribute towards the achievement of the goals and target of the assigned Zone via effective and efficient execution of agency distribution strategy.

Strategic Execution

  • Provide support in the establishment of the salaried salesforce model within the Agency channel.

  • Effectively carry out the salaried salesforce model in accordance with the approved business plans / business case

  • Develop programs and activities that will help the salaried salesforce to improve their productivity and competence.

  • Utilize the mechanisms in place to review performance and pivot execution plans to deliver improved results with the salaried salesforce model

  • Help establish systems, processes, and procedures for the effective and efficient management of the agencies within the Zone.

  • Provide inputs to the agency team to further improve the agency development programs and initiatives of the Zone.

Performance Management and Team Development

  • Manage the day-to-day agency sales and recruitment activities of the salaried salesforce to ensure that they are doing the required activities that will bring in the desired results.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the salaried salesforce to improve the overall performance of their respective teams.

  • Implement developmental and motivational activities to maintain engagement among agency teams.

  • Ensure that annual sales, manpower, active agent count, and conservation targets of the assigned salaried salesforce are met.

  • Coordinate with other departments and support teams to address and accommodate the requests, issues and concerns raised by the salaried salesforce.

  • Ensure that the salaried salesforce adhere to Company policies, business practices and norms.

  • Ensure that salaried salesforce is well informed of new initiatives and developments in the organization

  • Develop and maintain high morale among the agency teams in the Zone.

What we are looking for

  • Graduate of bachelor's degree

  • At least five years of relevant experience in business development and agency management preferably in a life insurance setting

  • Has held key positions relevant to the requirement of the job

  • Ability to work well with people of all levels in the organization

  • High degree of professionalism and business etiquette

  • With keen attention to detail

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Presentation, planning and organizing skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
