Schedule: Full Time

Shift : 4x10hrs – 6:45am - 5:15pm. Shared call requirements

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Waterman - 1000 Waterman Way, Tavares, FL 32778

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for direct and indirect preoperative patient care to the patient undergoing operative and/or an invasive procedure. Based on the needs of the department and on training, competence, and skill, the RN will perform in the role of circulator, and/or scrub nurse.

• Maintains and ensures a safe environment for staff members, patients/significant other and visitors.

• Implements physician orders.

• Understands and supports established hospital policies.

• Assists with supervision of ancillary personnel.

• Supervises and provides direct care to surgical patients and special attention to the (specialty) patient population.

• Responsible for providing guidance, clinical expertise, and mentoring to members of the health care team within the specialty while optimizing available

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Must be proficient in the English language

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

• Current active licensure of Registered Nurse-State of Florida

• Maintain active BLS

• 1 year of experience in CVOR/Operating Room in acute care setting
