Description
Waterford is looking for a skilled Help Desk technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems! This role is responsible for all user support services in the IT department and technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software for Waterford.org. Responsibilities
Manage, respond to, and escalate help desk tickets as needed
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for help desk issues
Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation for emergency situations
Escalate help desk and on call emergencies to IT
Provision computer hardware and accounts for new employees
Write, review, and follow internal help desk policies in coordination with IT
Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
Continuously champion, promote, and advance diversity, equity, and inclusive excellence at Waterford.org
Collaborate on and contribute to organizational DEI efforts and goals
A help desk technician should be familiar with most of the following technologies:
Atlassian Suite
Slack
Google Workspace
Outlook
Office 365 products
Windows 10/11
macOS
Linux
Intune/Azure
Basic understanding of enterprise networks
All forms of software and hardware installations on end-user equipment
Qualifications
Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users.
Strong customer service and technical troubleshooting skills a must.
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
A+, Network+, Associate Degree in IS, or equivalent certifications preferred

Waterford.org team members are located across the United States and primarily work from home. We anticipate this full time, hourly position will pay $18.00-25.00 per hour depending on the education, experience and skill level of the individual we hire. We also offer a phenomenal benefits package that includes fully paid primary premiums for health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, and disability insurance.
