Your Career

We're seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a backend team responsible for building infrastructure for behavioral analytics and anomaly detection.

We are working in a modern K8s-based environment, using Python and Go.

The system is built upon advanced cloud architecture, utilizing state-of-the-art cloud technologies in Peta-Byte scale, processing millions of events per second.

You will work closely and collaborate with the cyber-research group and have a high influence on the way Palo Alto Networks does threat detection and prevention.

Your Impact

• You will be responsible for the complete software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, deployment, and support

• You will drive ideas and initiatives, making innovation a reality

• You will be building a team, ​​mentor, support and help your team members grow to be better professionals

Your Experience

• 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams - Must

• 5+ years of software engineering hands-on experience - Must

• Experienced with a variety of database technologies, both relational and non-relational - Must

• Experience in designing, building and maintaining a scalable s distributed cloud products - Must

• Knowledge of the cyber field - Big advantage

• Experience in Go / Python - advantage

• Experience with GCP - advantage

• Experience with Kubernetes/Docker - advantage
