This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools

• Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order

• Performing duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment

• Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment including wiring, transformers, switchgear, motors, and other electrical components.

• Bend and install various types of conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and recommend solutions. 

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams. 

• Install electrical systems according to industry standards and regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are following safety regulations and standards.

• Coordinate with other trades and contractors on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects

• Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed.

• Tools Requires for Journeymen

• Work boots (must be over the ankle & electrically rated)

• Tools puch with belt

• Side puch ,Torpedo level ,(2) 9 inch channel locks

• Utility knife

• Wire strippers *Cordless sawzall or Hacksaw

• Small, Medium, & Large flat screwdriver

• 2 Small, Medium, & Large screwdriver

• 25 Foot tape measure ,Hammer ,MC Rotor cutter ,Cordless Drill ,Side Cutter ,Needle Nose Pliers ,Flashlight ,Tin Snips ,3/8 Inch Socket Set ,1/2 Inch EMT Bender ,3/4 Inch Bender

• Handheld Voltage Tester .Small & Large Allen Set ,Multi Meter ,1/2 inch to 1-1/4 Inch

• Knock out set or hole saw set ,AMP Meter ,Nut Driver Set ,Socket Set

• Plumb Laser Tools Required for Apprentices

• Work boots (must be over the ankle & electrical rated) ,Tool puch with belt ,Side Pouch ,Torpedo level
