Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Temple, Texas

Hiring Maintenance Technicians-- Up to $72,800/yearly

Weekly Pay

Description:

Perform maintenance and electrical function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular PM’s.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical problems of plant machinery.

Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve world-class results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirements.

Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned.

Work within specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion, and minimizing waste within set dates & times.

Other corrective and preventive maintenance duties to be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

o Mechanical and electrical

o PLC driven machinery

o High speed, high tech

o 13 different automated machines operating in line

o Tear down motors and rebuild

o Tear scrappers an repair

o Repair corrugator

o Installing a robot at some point that will take on a lot of the human operator process

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Detail-oriented, organized and dependable with time management skills.

3 - 5+ years’ experience with Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software & network configuration, and troubleshooting.

Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, working knowledge of PLC’s and motors.

Knowledge of computer and automated machines.

Strong maintenance electrical knowledge (manufacturing preferred) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes.

Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written.

Strong attention to detail.
