This is a leadership/management position responsible for the RMD Physical Security program across the business.
Responsibilities include implementation and compliance with all US Government and Raytheon Technologies security requirements, provide guidance and direction (goals & objectives) to Physical Security personnel, coordination with external and internal customers on physical security requirements, development security-relevant business continuity and survivability plans and programs, and interfacing with Raytheon Technologies Senior/Executive management with respect to business security activities.
This position manages physical and technical security to safeguard classified information across the business as it relates to meeting new construction and renovation requirements for accrediting closed areas, SAP’s and SCIF’s.
Responsible for oversight of all closed area compliance across the business to ensure all aspects of customer requirements are being met, e.g. NISPOM, JAFAN 6/9 and ICD 705. Reviews building construction/remodel design plans and ensures appropriate security enhancements are integrated into each plan. Oversees the development of Construction Security Plans and Faxed Facility Checklists. This person must be able to communicate vision and strategies effectively with both Raytheon Technologies leadership and other strategic partners.
Accomplishes human resource performance objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures. Achieves system security operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

Active Secret clearance is required on day one of employment.
U.S. Citizenship is required as a Secret Clearance is required on day one of employment, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in plant protection, physical security or similar law enforcement/military experience
At least eight (8) years of experience in a management/supervisory role
Demonstrated leadership under stressful conditions
Ability to be on call, as required, for twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week emergency response
Experience with building construction/remodel design plans for compliance with applicable physical security practice
Experience with developing disaster management programs in accordance with government requirements and industry standards
Experience preparing input to the department budget and manages expenses within area of responsibility
Possess a minimum of a Massachusetts Electrician License Class D
Strong customer focus philosophy
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Software House C-Cure 800 & 9000 experience
Electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection and video management systems) experience
Excellent presentation skills
Works well under pressure
Project management experience
Experience in managing outside services and vendors, e.g., guard services, alarm monitoring services, maintenance companies
National or local leadership experience on Boards, Task Forces, or with other organizations
Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
Master’s degree preferred
Professional ASIS or NCMA certifications i.e., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), etc.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
