Alight QA & Compliance Automation Architct in TG, Indiana
Responsible for providing quality guidance and leadership across the Global Payroll organization. They work closely with Engineering and Architecture teams to implement quality best practices. This position is responsible leading a team of QA’s as we build out Tosca automation suites across multiple products. This position is also responsible for the implementation of quality program metrics and reporting, providing overall transparency into tracking the success of various Quality Assurance (QA) program initiatives. It emphasizes a consultative mindset that will monitor the QA implementation, understand capabilities and solutions offered by the quality program product suites, and bring the appropriate combination of best practice solutions to the Global Payroll Organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to the Quality Assurance team on the implementation of Tosca quality best practices associated with a new and legacy applications; communicate and enable teams with best practices as we grow our test automation and other quality program initiatives across the enterprise
Work with IT leadership and engineering teams to introduce and capture quality program metrics that accurately measure quality progress for various quality initiatives.
Additionally serve as a Test Architect in support of the agile team automated testing implementation of the Tricentis product suite, coaching the teams in accordance with best practice approaches, tools and techniques, to ensure they are built into a relevant methodology. This includes monitoring, optimizing, mentoring, collaborating and continually improving the team, as well as the following:
Review test cases and repository health
Design and develop test automation framework, and code libraries to enable the team to use and enhance them across successive projects
Responsible for test infrastructure, environments and software
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities
Advise Test Specialists on Tosca best practices
Provide technical support to the Quality Manager to assist in achieving their strategic goals for the Quality team
Possess broad awareness of testing approaches, practices and technical design and deliver the overall testing methodology used by the team
Monitor the effectiveness of the testing function and bring about improvements through insights gained via analysis at all stages of the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and the Software Test Life cycle (STLC)
Provide technical know-how, documentation, and training to the team, stay up to speed on process, practice and technology developments to ensure they are brought in-house and enhance the solutions applied to the testing problems
Identify pre-testing process recommendations to ensure the application development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the QA strategy as defined
Requirements
7+ years in software testing and quality related roles, with deep technical knowhow and knowledge of software testing best practices
Experience with integrating the Tricentis product suite with DevOps pipeline and with databases including customizing/extending other related functionalities as needed
Experience with test driven development (TDD) practices, with demonstrated advocation for necessary change
Test automation experience (Tricentis Tosca required), experience leading teams
Experience with test environment/test data management
Experience working in agile, scrum
Excellent written/verbal communications and articulation skills for disparate audiences

Familiarity with automated testing platforms (e.g. Tricentis, Selenium etc.)
Familiarity with functional, performance and load testing systems (ALM, LoadRunner, UFT etc.)
Familiarity with relation/non-relational databases and DevSecOps tools: Jira, Github, Jenkins etc.
Familiarity with IT application development and operations procedures including DR exercises
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
