Job Description: BMS & Digitalization Engineer

Base Location

Siemens Factory, Kalwa (AVATAR)

Main Responsibility

BMS Executive responsible for monitoring, maintenance and optimization of IT/OT infrastructure and support operations team remotely for all India and APJ locations

IT / OT Infrastructure asset Management, Building Utilities & security systems, Communication network systems, AV Systems, Problem Solving skills, Trouble shooting, MS Tools.

Key Responsibility

· Person should be familiar with Siemens products, like- DesigoCC, SVMS, SiPASS etc. or similar

solutions from competitors.

· Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to controller / BMS and DDC and monitoring

systems and perform needed repairs.

· Tests and calibrates system devices to ensure functional reliability of operating / monitoring

system

· Installs, adjusts and services mechanical and electronic locks, card access systems, camera systems

and related equipment.

· Check Monitor, maintain and install building automation system for Utility as well as Security

systems.

· Monitor and adjust BMS settings to optimize system performance.

· Respond to alarms and troubleshoot system issues.

· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

· Perform repairs and coordinate major maintenance activities.

· Install software updates and assist in system upgrades.

· Collect and analyze data, generating reports and recommendations.

· Troubleshooting of OT devices remotely and network areas.

· Updating of system architecture periodically and maintain the uptime of all equipment’s.

· Raising the service tickets & follow up for resolution with OEM’s and service providers.

· Ensuring software updates, compliance and managing software-related security issues

· Negotiating contracts and managing service agreements with vendors and service providers

· Providing guidance to local site team to manage BMS assets and vulnerabilities

Required Competencies

· Minimum Year of experience: 23 Years in similar field

· Qualification: BE in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Communications

· Specialized Skills: MS Office, Training in PLC/Desigo/Automation.

· Personal Attributes: The applicant must have the ability to organize, prioritize and

produce results to meet deadlines and work in close collaboration with customers and stakeholders. Good team-working skills are a must.
