Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for visual inspection of dental products and their related packaging following specific operating procedures and compliance with cGMP for Class II medical devices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Perform basic visual first article, in-process and final inspections per blueprints and/or other written specifications using designated inspection tools such as 3X Magnifier and Microscope.

  • Verify and document part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, inspection dates, results, in log entry format to ensure accurate product history records for each product inspection task performed.

  • Inspect product within the estimated time requirements.

  • Inspect Customer Returns for acceptability to specifications.

  • Report all non- conforming product(s) to the Quality Assurance Lead/Supervisor.

  • Obtain appropriate inspection gages, fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials from QA inventory.

  • Maintain accurate inspection data and product history records.

  • Monitor job order process using inspection criteria to ensure the continued production of quality product.

  • Responsible to inform the Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager of out of tolerance conditions or un-acceptability of product based on specifications in QA acceptance activities.

  • Perform general quality inspection tasks and other work-related duties as required.

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; some college or technical training preferred

  • A minimum of two (2) years quality assurance mechanical inspection experience or; Technical training in inspection and one (1) year quality assurance mechanical inspection experience

  • Minimum six (6) months experience with reading Engineering blue prints Basic Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as operating procedures and general instructions, machine manuals, employee handbook, company policies and departmental procedures, etc.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$22.60 - $30.60 per hour
