Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.

CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:

This position manages and supports a team of Behavior Unit Direct Support Professionals. Supervise designated behavior unit staff to ensure a smooth flow of activities on a routine basis by monitoring staffing, call-outs, emergencies and staff problems.

Essential Duties:

Responsible for the supervision and performance evaluations of all DSP Team Members in the Behavior Unit on the 7-3 and 3-11 shifts.

Work with the 11-7 DSP Supervisor on training needs for the DSP Team Members in the Behavior Unit on this shift. Work with all DSP Supervisors on staffing schedules for the Unit across all shifts.

Attend ECCI when residents in the Behavior Unit are attending, monitor and assist with programming, mealtimes, training, outings/activities off site and behavior program implementation.

Complete monthly Quality Compliance Review System documentation and submit to Behavior Unit Director.

Required Qualification:

High School Diploma/GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

Supervisory experience preferred.

Four years relative experience working with IDD population, with other vulnerable individuals with physical, mental and behavioral challenges, or with children is preferred.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Hourly/ $26.00
