Astrotech Space Operations Finance / Business Operations Coordinator (AR/AP) in Titusville, Florida

FINANCE/BUSINESS OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in AP/AR.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains preferred, but not required)
  • Experienced in MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Experience with MS Office programs, to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Skills include database management, records management, and reporting procedures.
  • Written, verbal, and organizational skills required.
  • Attention to detail, customer focused, and multitasking skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Obtain approval for payment from applicable company personnel / operating location.
  • Record and post payments received, and process check runs for payment of vendor invoices and other debts owed by the organization.
  • Verify amounts owed and received and ensure that transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger accounts.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements and site petty cash accounts and prepare month-end journal entries and year-end vendor 1099's.
  • Preparing and submitting invoices to Astrotech customers for payment and will maintain the database of Certificate of Insurance (COI's) for vendors performing work at Astrotech facilities.
  • Manage daily accounting and payroll processing activities.
  • Maintain company Document Control Administration, annual internal audits, and company training programs.
