Lead Lab Tech First Shift

Location: Titusville

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (1-2 hours overtime required daily)

Pay $25.80/hr

Job Overview:

The Lab Tech Lead will oversee, plan, and execute all cleanroom activities and operations while ensuring safety, quality, volume, and excellent customer service is achieved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate daily lab and packaging work; schedule and prioritize work as needed

  • Be familiar with the regulatory requirements specific to the lab and ensure all users are in compliance with those standards.

  • Manage your own workflow, documentation, deadlines on multiple and simultaneous projects

  • Process components from initial stage to completion inspect during and after processing and again before shipping, for cleanliness and damage to parts

  • Support the Packaging and Laboratory Technicians as needed

  • Follow established quality standards, supervise quality control, inspect staff work

  • Ensure Laboratory and Packaging Technicians and contractors have been trained on the correct use of the lab equipment; mentor Laboratory and Packaging Technicians when established safety policies/procedures have not been followed.

  • Maintain equipment and ensure that equipment is calibrated and in good working order

  • Participate in periodic training regarding quality, operations and maintenance of workers safety Communicate status, incidents and requests with team members

  • Other duties as assigned Analyze and implement projects subject to the U.S. Export Control Laws

  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor of Science preferred; high school diploma required.

  • Related Experience: 1-3 years laboratory experience.

  • Experience working in a Cleanroom environment preferred and particle counting highly preferred

  • Supervisory experience: 1 year minimum

  • Essential Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.

  • Ability to interact at all levels of company and with people of various backgrounds and experience.

  • Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment.

  • Excellent proficiency in PC-based computing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and cGMP documentation is essential.

  • Ability to comply with federally mandated requirements of the U.S. Export Control Laws
