Red Hat の Agile Coach は、様々な業界・業種のお客様に対して、Agile の導入やその過程で遭遇する課題の解消に対する支援を行います。DX や DevOps などの面からビジネスやシステム開発における agility を向上するための変革に取り組むお客様に対して、お客様や他のコンサルタントとともに、お客様のチームを立ち上げ、コーチし、自律的に Agile を推進していけるよう支援します。

Agile Coach は、Agile 開発チームや SM(Scrum Master)・PO(Product Owner) の立ち上げやプロジェクト進行に寄り添ったコーチングやレクチャーを提供するだけでなく、Agile 導入においては必須となるビジネスリーダー(管理層やエグゼクティブ)への概念・文化の浸透の働きかけも含め、お客様が Be Agile を実現するためにさまざまに支援します。このため、お客様が進められる組織・体制・文化への幅広いトランスフォーメーションに関わり、変革をもたらしお客様を成功に導く役割を担います。

また、Labs チームの中核となってチームを導き、Open Innovation Labs サービスの営業活動に参画し、お客様への価値訴求やスコープ決めなど提案活動を支援します。

The Red Hat Open Innovation Labs (Labs) team is looking for an Agile Coach to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will use a variety of modern application development practices, along with emerging technologies from open source communities, working together with consulting engineers and customers in small teams to build, test, and iterate over innovative application prototypes attached to real business value. You’ll be the heartbeat of a Labs residency, coaching and nurturing novice customers. You will also be involved in the wider transformation our customers are going through, being the catalyst of these transformations. As an Agile Coach, you will support everything from the selling and scoping of Labs residencies and projects to guiding the delivery team’s implementation of these projects, ensuring customer success. Throughout the life cycle of a residency or project, you will have control and oversight from kickoff to closeout, determining scope details and monitoring the project's progress to ensure that it conforms to customer expectations and contractual agreements.

What you will do

  • 心理的安全性をもって問題提起ができる、信頼できる安全な環境を確立しサポートする

  • 変革の取り組みの進捗状況を示す主要な指標を定義・公開し、組織を教育する

  • 特に課題解決のバックログの維持・管理に関して、PO やマネージャーをサポートおよび教育する

  • 議論・意思決定・問題解決をファシリテートする

  • ダッシュボードレポートなど、チームの効率性の向上に役立つ指標を開発する

  • ソリューションロードマップの計画、プロジェクトのスケジュール設定、リリースマネジメントに貢献する

  • パフォーマンスと生産性を向上させる新しいアイディアとプロセスを導入する

  • Agile の概念が新しいまたは懐疑的な見方をされる環境で、お客様のチーム・組織・管理層へトレーニングを提供する

  • Agile と Lean のプラクティスについて、ビジネスリーダー(管理層やエグゼクティブ)への指導・訓練・教育を行う

  • 障害を取り除くためにより大きな組織に働きかけることにより、チーム間の調整を促進する

  • Agile 手法に関する業界のトレンドについて常に情報を入手し、継続的な学習により知識を得る

  • Establish collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams and the organization to help them in their journey of adopting agile methodology

  • Serve as an agile coach for distributed teams as needed, with a focus on coaching the team on agile values and practices and encouraging them to continuously improve

  • Ensure that new teams are supported through formation

  • Establish and support a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised

  • Define, publish, and educate the organization on key metrics that show the progress of the transformation effort

  • Support and educate the product owner or manager, especially with respect to maintaining the solution backlog

  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

  • Develop metrics to help improve team effectiveness, including dashboard reporting

  • Contribute to solution roadmap planning, project scheduling, and release management

  • Introduce new ideas and processes which will improve performance and productivity

  • Provide training for the team and program in an environment where agile concepts are new or met with skepticism

  • Coach, train, and educate managers and leaders in agile and lean practices

  • Facilitate cross-team coordination through reaching out to the larger organization for impediment removal

  • Keep informed and educated about industry trends concerning agile methodologies

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience

  • 8+ years of experience with demonstrated record of delivering software offerings to production using agile and lean methods

  • Highly proficient in agile practices with the ability to clearly coach teams and programs at varying maturity levels

  • Data-driven analysis skills for measuring and managing delivery

  • Excellent facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to influence change at all levels

  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Jira, Trello, or open source agile life cycle management tooling like Taiga

  • Comfortable operating in rapidly changing environments

  • Knowledge of the Red Hat’s offerings, Linux operating system, open source software development, and application container technology
