How will you make an impact in this role?

This role is responsible for the analysis and execution of the key performance metrics (KPIs), standardized reporting, adhoc reports that support leadership by providing timely information and answers to key business questions needed to drive the business forward.

More specifically this Data Analyst role, will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing the big data environment toTrack/monitor/analyze business metrics/results (e.g. Acquisition result, Attrition, Spend)on a daily, weekly basis, and closely communicate with the Japan Marketing team, which includes Acquisition team, Internal Acquisition Team, Spend Engagement team to identify new opportunities and any major variances.

  • Execute and Update the standardized monthly reporting on Billing, Customer Portfolio, New Accounts Performance, Attrition, Membership Rewards, Lending related reporting. This includes continuously improvement of the process efficiency and automation.

  • Responsible for Adhoc jobs which include data processing, campaign effectiveness tracking, portfolio analysis, growth opportunity analysis to support business planning, decisioning and execution process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience andknowledge of SQL plus big data programming experience such as Python, Big Query, Hive

  • 1-3 years of experience and knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages and Visualization tool for analyzing large datasets(Tableau, Power BI etc)

  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize deliverables

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information into details and accuracy.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and yet a good team player.

  • Both Japanese (business level), English (basic level) language skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of building statistical model and reporting automation is a plus
