Morgan Stanley Equity Derivatives Production Applications Support , Associate - Technology in Tokyo, Japan
This open position is within RPE (Reliability and Production Engineering) essentially involving user support and production management for Institutional Equities Trading and Sales. Our users deal in derivatives products in Institutional Equities Division like OTC Equity Derivative Trades, Equity swaps, and Bespoke Equity Structured Products. This role offers a fast-paced and interesting mix of technical and business challenges, allowing the successful candidate to develop an in-depth understanding and hands-on experience of Morgan Stanley's trading technologies and businesses.
Your responsibilites will include, but not be limited to: 1. Provide day-to-day support to Equity Traders and Sales across variety of applications used by them for trade lifecycle, deal execution and post execution activities. 2. Liase with application development teams to maintain general stability in production plant along with periodic SDLC turnoveers. 3. Manage any outage situation by involving all relevant impacted parties and provide robust technical resolution with thorogh problem management in incident follow-up. 4. Work with global team to achieve hygiene and automation goals by contributing towards various monitoring tools used within the team. 5. Monitor day-to-day alerts and work with development teams towards finding a long term solution for alert management. 5. Manage any significant market events that may disrupt day-to-day business activities. 6. Work with firm's fusion centre to assist in periodic BCP regional testing for the applications used by Equity derivative traders and sales. 7. Working alongside existing global and regional team members on a follow-the-sun basis.

- Experience of at least one of these areas is highly desirable:
- OTC booking and life-cycle management
- Pre-trade systems support (RFQ)
