製品安全・コンプライアンスマネージャーは、ガイドラインの策定と実施、Amazonで販売される製品が日本の法規制に準じた安全なものであることを担保する重要な役割を持っています。また、アマゾンオペレーションズ、ビジネスチーム、法務、カスタマーサービス、技術部門、そして国内の製品安全を推進する様々な社内部門と直接協力します。内部だけでなく、専門的な検査機関などの外部機関とも積極的に協力し、一部のリスクの高い製品の調査報告やテスト結果をチェックして、安全な事業拡大をサポートします。製品安全・コンプライアンスマネージャーは、アマゾンジャパンのすべての製品が日本国内の法律とポリシーを満たしていることを保証し、安全と遵法を確認できるプロセスを導入する必要があります。これらのプロセスを導入するためには、Amazonのポリシーと、Amazonが販売する製品に適用される法的環境を理解する必要があります。その結果、Amazonがすべての顧客に提供する製品があらゆる安全関連基準や規制に準じていることを確認し、購入者の安全を守ることを第一に努めます。

We are looking for a talented Product Safety and Compliance Manager to support our rapidly growing and evolving Retail and Operations businesses. The Product Safety and Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant product safety regulatory guidelines in Japan.

As the Product Safety and Compliance Manager, you will collaborate with Amazon’s stakeholder teams including Fulfillment Center Operations, Selling Partner Business Legal, Customer Service, and Technology teams to enforce Product Safety policies in Japan. You will actively seek cooperation from not only internal functions but also external parties and assess risks of high-risk products and evaluate test results of the products. to support business expansion. The role must ensure all products in JP Marketplace meet Amazon's policies, ensuring safety and compliance is embedded in end-to-end processes with managing/building programs. The role is responsible for understanding Amazon policies and guidelines as well as the legal requirements that applies to the product Amazon offers for sale.

Key job responsibilities

・顧客からの苦情/顧客レビューおよびカスタマーサービスのフォローアップや社外からのリコール・自主回収等の情報に基づいて、製品安全に関する問題を調べ、解決に導く

・分類データベース、規制データベースなどの運用およびキャリアと連携する製品安全固有のプロセスを設計、実装、および維持する

・オペレーション部門と協業・リソースを活用し、プロセスの効率の最大化を図る

・東京目黒を拠点とする

・Focus on Amazon’s operations for both supply and customer. The primary goal is to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

・Lead efforts to review and update validation processes for all newly onboarded products that are highly regulated.

・Collaborate with external authorities and carry out a scheme to ensure product safety at JP Amazon market place.

・Drive solutions of Product Safety issues raised by customer complaints/customer review comments, internal follow-up actions, and product recall requests from external parties.

・Design, implement, and maintain Product Safety processes that interface with Fulfillment Operation teams and carriers and use classification and restriction databases.

・Help optimize Fulfillment Center processes to enhance competitive advantages and customer experience. Leverage resources available and work effectively across functions Amazon business grows.

・Based in Tokyo Meguro.

The Product Safety & Compliance team in Japan works to ensure that all products offered in Japan are safe for our customers, compliant with all product safety legal requirements, and meet consumer expectations. It does that by bringing product/risk science and technical expertise together with technology solutions to serve the Amazon business. Our vision for Product Safety & Compliance is to support Amazon’s mission of offering the widest selection of products available, while protecting customers from potential unsafe & non-compliant products. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to set standards, develop and implement assessment programs and partner with retail, operations and transportation teams to achieve compliance. Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Experience handling confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience

• Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials

• Experience with SQL and Excel
