As a Senior Insights Analyst, you will leverage one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world to create compelling, impactful and actionable insights for our company, internal sales partners and clients across APAC. You will have the opportunity to bring our Talent Intelligence narrative to life and lead the movement of data-driven decision making for our clients.

In this client-facing role, you will shape how we create value for LinkedIn and our Talent & Learning Solutions clients at scale. You will be responsible for managing analytical projects and developing and delivering analysis/tools through data-driven recommendations in a visually compelling way. You will present these recommendations to audiences across the internal sale teams, and external clients, and act as a LinkedIn Insights subject matter expert who is able to drive thought leadership in the field of workforce analytics, and deliver complex analysis in a simplified and impactful way.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage LinkedIn’s unique data to create innovative analysis and tools to address our clients’ business challenges

  • Write SQL queries to extract necessary data and present the information either in Tableau, Excel or PowerPoint and analyze the results to generate actionable insights

  • Understand LinkedIn economic graph ecosystem and bring new ideas in social media analytics and measurement to market

  • Build cross functional consensus for operational improvements and partner effectively with other teams

  • Collaborate closely with the sales, business analytics, product and insights teams to provide analysis, reporting and tool building capabilities that inform our key stakeholders

  • Develop scalable and repeatable playbooks/guides for internal and external stakeholders

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to stakeholders and end as they pertain to measurement

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics and/or consulting

  • 2+ years experience with a data querying language such as SQL or Presto

  • Fluency in Japanese and English to service the local market

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in math, marketing, statistics, economics or related quantitative field

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, statistical and data analysis skills

  • Ability to convert a complex data set into an actionable recommendation

  • Experience with Power BI, High charts or other data visualization software

  • Experience with basic Python

  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience with project management and working cross-functionally with data services, engineering, marketing and sales teams
