Amazon’s Direct Fulfillment (DF) team is looking for a tenured Sr. Program Manager, Vendor Development, who owns the program's top-line/bottom-line, vendors’ DF business/performance growth, new selection expansion, and Free Cash Flow savings, designing and driving DF business growth mechanism, and building solid relationships between vendors and DF program. As a Sr. Program Manager, you will also be a key contributor to the future technology roadmap and long-term vision of Direct Fulfillment within Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technology Group (SCOT).

In this role you will…

• Extract and analyze data to identify DF business opportunity of DF vendors from various aspects such as selection, availability and profitability

• Build and drive mechanisms to provide support vendors’ DF business growth, including direct communication with vendors to solve their business/operational problems, selection expansion while improving their operational excellence

• Shape strategic retail and vendor engagement, liaise and drive vendor relationships, identify business opportunities, seek operation and tech support to meet business requirements, and prioritize for the DF business expansion

• Identify the growth opportunity of onboarded DF vendors and support their smooth ramping up with selection and volume expansion while keeping the CX bar

• Strategically pitch DF program to retail category teams and vendors to improve their business performance during the peak periods

• Communicate (writing and speaking) with executive audiences to provide program updates, influence stakeholder to get support, and build DF growth mechanism to keep expanding DF program

• Key contributor to the future DF technology roadmap, collect voices from vendor and retail, work closely with product team to drive new feature launch

• DF立ち上げ間もないベンダーの成長機会を分析し、CXを維持しながらスムーズなDFビジネスの成長を支援します

• 繁忙期における戦略的なDFプログラムの活用をリテールビジネスチームやベンダーと共に推進し、DFプログラムを通したベンダーおよびリテールビジネスの成長へ貢献いただきます

• プログラムに関する最新情報を関係者に資料やミーティングを通して常にアップデートを行い、プログラムの拡大するための啓蒙活動や関係者から協力を得ながら更なるDF拡大を支えるメカニズムを構築する

• ベンダーやリテールチームのフィードバックを収集し、プロダクトチームと連携しながら新しい機能の開発を行い、プログラムの将来的なビジョン構築に貢献していく

Through Direct Fulfillment, we can enable broad in-stock product selection for Amazon’s customers, at the quality and speed of delivery they have come to expect.

Basic Qualifications

• +5 years of sales, project management, or supply chain management experience

• +3 years of process management, cross functional project management experience

• hold engineering, operation, transportation, business related degree

• Be able to travel up to 20% of working time

• Business level in both English and Japanese (verbal and writing)

• 5年以上の提案営業・プロジェクトマネージメント・サプライチェーンエリアの経験

• 3年以上のプロセス管理、及び組織横断型プロジェクト管理の経験

• エンジニアリング・オペレーション・運送・ビジネスに関する学士を保有

• 業務の20％程度は出張を含む

• ビジネスレベルの日本語と英語力（読み書き・話し）

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold engineering, operation, transportation, business related master degree

• +3 years of dropship or logistic program management experience

• +3 years of retail and vendor/supplier management experience

• Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
