Job Title: Gage Tech (2nd Shift)
Job Description
What You Will Be Doing:
- The Gage Technician/Quality Inspector supports manufacturing operations and is responsible for controlling measuring equipment, gages, and checking fixtures used in the manufacturing plant.
Job Description:
Maintain and service Gages and related equipment used by production team
Install/Un-Install, exchange, and/or clean gages
Perform audits
Conduct inventory checks
Fill out necessary forms and EOS reports
Work with Gage engineers to support the production team
Perform PM's on gages and gage benches
General housekeeping and cleaning of gage office and other areas
Work Environment
3rd party quality inspection company inside of General Motors
Automotive facility, large and requires extensive walking
Non-climate controlled
Need one laborer on 2nd shift
Training on day shift is the normal protocol to ensure proper training and learning
$20.82 starting pay
Steel-toed shoes required in facility
High visibility vests are provided
