Ocean Community Economic Action Now, Inc. DBA: OCEAN Inc. Education/Site Supervisor in Toms River, New Jersey
Education/Site Supervisor monitors the implementation of education services and guides teaching staff in child development best practices for children ages 3-5 years old. Monitors and coordinates staff schedules internally and arranges/schedules substitutes for the center as mandated by Head Start Management and Programs. In addition, ensures safety of facility and coordinates service.
- BA or BS in Early Childhood Education or related field with required minimal of 18 credits in Early Childhood credits. NJ Teacher Certification P-3 standard endorsement preferred.
- Experience in supervising education staff required.
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License and transportation.
- Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds regularly with bending, stooping and lifting.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications and adapt quickly to agency software used.
- Effective and relatable communication with clients, vendors and staff of diverse backgrounds.
