Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a .NET developer to join the Land and Resources Cluster within the Ministry of Natural Resources and Foresty. Candidates must have 10+ years of experience working with .NET and must be willing to work 2 days minimum at an OPS location of their choice. (Toronto, Peterborough or Guelph)The ideal candidate will have experience in building, debugging, and optimizing performance in web applications, as well as hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

-10+ years experience with .NET

-Azure experience

-GIS experience (working with Images and Maps/google maps)

-PostgreSQL

-Python Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  Develop, debug, and maintain Microsoft ASP .NET web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

  Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python for data processing and automation tasks.

  Design, develop, and optimize Azure Databricks solutions, with a focus on performance tuning and best practices.

  Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy end-to-end solutions on the Azure Cloud platform.

  Ensure cloud infrastructure is designed and maintained for maximum reliability, scalability, and performance.

  Participate in code reviews, ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed.

  Develop DevOps deployment pipelines and improve CI/CD processes.

  Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack in both development and production environments.

  Perform performance tuning for web applications, databases, and cloud-based solutions -Informatica or Cloud experience

-AWS migration experience

-OPS experience or Public Sector experience null
