We are looking for a Senior Contract Administrator for an advanced facilities client, based out of our Toronto, ON office.

As a Senior Contract Administrator , you will advice and assist client’s Construction Manager with construction related matters. You will coordinate Jacobs design and construction team with respect to construction activities, site instructions (SI), Request of Information (RFI), Construction Directives (CD).

You will be responsible for the co-ordination of all construction installation to meet clients regulatory and local government requirements. You will overview overall construction management (day-to-day), constructability and execution of construction activities so that project objectives are achieved within timescale, budget and are technically compliant. You will assist in permitting, review construction schedule, payment certification during construction,

You will be responsible for:

  • Installation in line with relevant Project Standards and Procedures

  • Ensure, with Lead Engineers (back office) / Field Supervisors, Construction quality for all packages

  • Ensure with planner the tracking of construction schedule

  • Follow up of construction punch lists until Mechanical Completion

  • Review and approve of Contractor’s commercial documents

  • Assist client’s Construction Manager for acceptance certificate MC (Mechanical Completion) and associated punch list.

  • Preparation and distribution of weekly reports

  • Participate in daily/weekly CM meetings

  • Participate in Project, Workshops, Client and Construction meetings

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • University degree or Engineering technology diploma or demonstrated experience

  • Minimum of 10 years construction administration experience is required

  • 5 years demonstrated experience in complex Industrial / Municipal Building project delivery

  • Strong people/stakeholder management and leadership skill
