About the Role

As a CBRE Sr Transaction Manager, you will manage a team that provides ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for our Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge Point operators (“clients”) to locate and contract for sites to implement their electrification strategy.

The scope for this role is to both lead a team and perform the implementation of a site selection strategy for acquiring a client’s charge point sites by:

  • Providing sites that meet their specified EV transaction needs

  • Selecting sites that meet their selection criteria

  • Following a process to complete transactions from initial concept to final documentation

What You’ll Do

Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.

Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

Responsible for initiating client projects, defining scope, prioritizing assignments, and adhering to client-driven priorities, commitments, and milestones.

Responsible for coordinating and implementing the documentation of the business terms and conditions for real estate assets, including land, parking spaces, and other commercial properties.

Incorporate data from multiple sources to generate monthly reports, ensuring accuracy and data integrity in project reporting.

Review, analyze, and interpret information to enable clients to make more informed decisions.

Work closely with the company or client's Lease Administration, Project Management, Facility Management, and Finance and Accounting teams to ensure integration between the service lines (if required).

Prepare commission forecasts and vouchers.

Monitor real estate project tracking technologies to ensure timely transaction completion; prepare reports and make presentations to relevant parties.

Lead by example and model behaviours consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.

Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.

Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.

Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.

Coordinate field broker selection (if required).

What You’ll Need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Real Estate salesperson license required.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
