Capgemini Test Manager- Greater Toronto Area in Toronto, Ontario

We are seeking a Test Manager to join our team. The Test Manager will be responsible for supervising and handling all aspects of the testing process, including test strategy development, interfacing with project leadership and business stakeholders, advising on best practices for quality assurance (QA), estimating test efforts, and leading and mentoring other team members, both onshore and offshore.

Key responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive test strategies tailored to the specific requirements of large, complex custom and SaaS applications to setup a Test CoE.

  • Interfacing with Project Leadership/Business: Collaborate closely with project leadership and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of testing objectives with overall project goals.

  • Advise on Best Practices for QA & Automation: Provide expert guidance and recommendations on best practices for quality assurance to optimize testing processes and outcomes.

  • Test Effort Estimation: Accurately estimate the effort required for testing activities, considering project scope, timelines, and resource constraints.

  • Lead/Mentor Other Team Members, Onshore and Offshore: Lead and mentor a diverse team of testers, providing guidance, support, and expertise to ensure high-quality testing deliverables.

Required Skills

  • Test Strategy Development for Large Complex Applications: Proven experience in developing test strategies for large, complex applications and data & integration testing.

  • Great Client Interaction and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.

  • 10 years of experience in quality assurance (QA) including both manual and automation.

  • Experience with automation tools such as TOSCA and Selenium is highly desirable.

  • Exposure to full SDLC including hands on DevOps is preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure stack is preferred.
