The Role:

The Venue Marketing Manager, under guidance of the Venue Marketing Director, will be responsible for multiple tasks that drive the success of marketing efforts for Live Nation’s owned and operated venues across Canada. These tasks include updating show information across venue touchpoints (website, social), plus the coordination and delivery of marketing assets supporting venue hospitality and ancillary products.

What This Role Will Do:

Manage venue priorities including:

  • Update venue website and maintain quality control (ensure show information is up to date, work with partners to ensure F&B, PSS & Special Event content is updated as necessary and represented)

  • Execute fan communication plans to ensure key information reaches guests before each event via email, social, and website

  • Manually build and manage fan communications in case of emergency

  • Help manage social calendar for assigned venues, including engagement content as well as show related needs – announce, presale, on sale

  • Ensure creative assets are delivered to venues for future show support, concert calendar, food & beverage, health and safety support as needed

  • Create and manage venue level creative assets for onsite & digital needs (monthly & weekly show calendars)

  • Manage asset placement in digital video signage

  • Coordinate house photographers and asset collection for respective venues

  • Confirm and maintain proper sponsorship placements as needed across digital, website, social, onsite signage

  • Day of show event coverage as necessary

  • Overall branding strategies

  • Work with members of the marketing team to execute on event and company priorities

  • Other duties as required

    What This Person Will Bring:

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in event assisting/planning or marketing experience within an entertainment, sports or public assembly facility setting

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to professionally present marketing concepts and strategies to artist management

  • Work well in a team environment

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while juggling multiple time sensitive tasks.

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite skills

  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and multimedia management software

  • Basic knowledge of website development

  • Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools (Asana)

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Sitting for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
