Description We are seeking a Software Developer L3 to join our team in Marysville, Ohio. In this role, you'll be working in the automotive industry, focusing on the development and optimization of databases for our customer data platform. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize databases for our customer data platform (CDP)

• Streamline data operations to ensure optimal performance

• Translate business strategies into database level intelligence needs

• Apply best practices and patterns to support the development team

• Oversee system integrations across multiple projects and products

• Influence system design by identifying and recommending software enhancements

• Apply knowledge of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies

• Foster excellent communication and teamwork, including collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Develop and optimize database schemas using both SQL and NoSQL systems

• Conduct rigorous testing and review to ensure code quality, security, and performance

• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues effectively

• Utilize Python development skills, including knowledge of Pandas or NumPy frameworks

• Apply knowledge of cloud platforms and AWS Core Services

• Utilize skills in REST APIs and JSON to enhance system performance. Requirements • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R Code

• Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS Technologies

• Experience in database design, optimization, and security

• Capability to troubleshoot software issues effectively

• Ability to travel onsite as required

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and GitHub

• Familiarity with software libraries and REST API utilization

• Experience in streamlining operations and implementing frameworks

• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and supplier relations

• Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field is preferred
