HR Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with recruitment, including updating job descriptions, posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks and drafting offer letters.

  • Schedules and conducts new hire and benefit orientations.

  • Screens new hire employment eligibility via E-Verify within the first three days of employment.

  • Processes new hires, rehires & terminations in an accurate and timely manner, ensures all documentation is in order and filed appropriately.

  • Collects and processes benefits enrollments and changes, assists employees with questions as needed.

  • Assists with annual open enrollment event.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of experience working as an HR Assistant, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • At least 1 year of experience in two or more of the following: hiring/recruiting, performance management, employee relations, policy, safety, benefit education, employee onboarding, training.

  • Requires strong proficiency in the use of a variety of software including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and timekeeping systems (e.g., ADP WorkforceNow, UKG, SAP).

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.

Pay: $23 - $27

Duration: Long Term
