We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Troutman, North Carolina. This role will be situated within the construction industry, specifically focusing on full charge bookkeeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties and performing higher-level accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform job costing and progress billing.

• Conduct account and bank reconciliations.

• Carry out month-end accounting tasks and review profit and loss statements.

• Review payroll and accounts payable/receivable.

• Work with certified public accountants on tax filings.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions.

• Handle sales tax related duties.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions and Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of Construction Accounting and Job Costing

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Understanding of Profit and Loss statements

• Capable of managing Payroll processes

• Expertise in using QuickBooks for financial management

• Experience with Sales Tax calculations and reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
